Well, I'm back to quilting again. That didn't take long did it? I'm definitely going to be making more baby clothes but just for now, I made two little quilts for covering up teeny tiny legs when we go out for a walk with the buggy. I've had these two patterns for ages, with every good intention to make proper quilts from them. But hey, I'm sure you know how that goes. Anyway, I've used them now. I only needed small quilts ( about 50 cm square) for in the baby buggy so I thought one of each animal in the corner of each quilt would be perfect. They're patterns from Elizabeth Hartman. I really enjoyed making them. The hedgehog and the fox's head went together really easily and the pattern was so clear and easy to follow. I'll definitely be looking out for more of her patterns. I can't wait till I get to babysit again, then I can try them out.

It's been a very very long time since I made any children's clothes. I used to make most of the clothes for my boys but there came a time when they didn't want Mum-made clothes any more, which is how I first got into quilt making. So, every cloud and all that.. Anyway, now I've got Grandchildren, I think it's alright to start making clothes again. I made these two little dresses over the weekend, with some leggings to go with them. They're so tiny! I had a lovely time making them. I think I might have to have a rummage through all my old patterns. I can see fun times ahead.
