Guess what? It's raining. Again! Nothing else for it then - I'll start quilting my quilt. It didn't have a home when I started making it. I just wanted to play with the jelly roll I found in the back of my cupboard. Since I've made it though, Paul said he likes it and has laid claim to it for our bedroom. It doesn't really go with the colours in our room, but it looks happy, so that's good enough for me. I made the one that we're using now when Andrew was a toddler and he's 31 now, so I think it's high time we had a change of quilt. I decided to do some free motion quilting on it. It's amazing how two or three hours can just fly by when you're doing free motion quilting. I've been having a lovely time, sitting under my quilt, the machine humming along and Neil Diamond serenading me at full pelt. Even though it's raining, it's still really warm, especially under a quilt, so I've had the window wide open. I hope the neighbours like Neil Diamond as much as I do. I'm sure they will by the time I've finished. I've done a quarter of it so far. (don't look too closely)
