Tomorrow, I'll be having surgery on my hand. I'll have to wear a plaster cast for three weeks, so I won't be able to do any sewing. Mind you, by the time three weeks are up you can bet your life I'll have tried sewing with one hand more than a few times. Anyway, I thought I'd make some plans to use the time fruitfully and tidy out my sewing room. It does need it, just a little bit, don't you think. I might post some "after" pictures when I've tidied up, just so you can see I've been busy. On the other hand, if I can get the hang of one handed sewing, I might not have time to tidy up. I think it's overrated anyway!

I've been busy making things again. Still not a baby quilt. Placemats this time. Our youngest son has just celebrated his birthday, so it was an ideal time to make something. He's wanting to move house sometime soon, so I thought some new placemats would be useful. Well, you've got to start somewhere. He hasn't found "the" house yet, but when he does, he'll have his placemats ready!
