I just got these photos on my facebook page. My latest quilt has finally reached its new home. Apparently the little girl who its for really likes it. I love it when a plan comes together! I hope it keeps her warm for many a good year. Thank you Mollie's Mum for letting me share your photos.

Remember towards the end of last year, when I made a sheep quilt? It was for a new little baby girl who was due in November. Well, yesterday this photo arrived. It's the new owner of my sheep quilt. She looks quite at home lying there on it, don't you think? I love it when people let me see where my quilts have ended up. And it's brilliant that it's being used. I hope she enjoys playing with it for a long time. Thank you to the new parents for letting me share their photo.
I finished making my latest project. I had a lovely time doing it. I posted it off last Thursday to its new home. Since then I've been watching the track and trace at about half hourly intervals. I always get very nervous that things will go wrong and my parcel will never be seen again. So far, it has just reached England. I think I would have been quicker delivering it by hand! Anyway, can't be helped. I just have to be patient. We got walloped by storm Doris yesterday, which wasn't nice, but today it's lovely and sunny so I thought I'd take a picture of some of the snowdrops in our garden. Spring is on the way. Yippeee!!
Well. I'm at that stage now. This is the last pin, ready to come out. Such an important stage, that I thought I'd share it with you. My finger ends will be very grateful that this stage is now over. I've finished the quilting too, so just a label now, then the quilt can go off to a new home. There's a little girl waiting for it. I hope she likes it. I've certainly enjoyed making it. All the pins are back where they belong now. One day I'll count how many I've used in a quilt this size... but not today.
I'm enjoying quilting my latest project. It's a lot bigger than the ones I usually make, so it's taking longer to see any sort of progress. I think I'm at the stage now though, where there are more quilted bits than there are safety pins. Over half way!!
